About us

Pass It On (In Your Community) CIC was founded in June 2022 by three local women who had experienced difficult times and wanted to make a difference by addressing the cost of living while reducing food waste.

From the beginning, our goal was to create a service available on weekends to support working individuals who don't qualify for food bank assistance or can't access Monday to Friday community fridges due to their jobs.

Initially operating from two separate council buildings, we relocated to The Old Forge in March 2023, where we've since expanded our services to include a clothes bank and a community garden. Our entire operation is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers, partners, and local residents.
