Reduce, Re-use, Recylce
Our community fridge helps reduce food waste and support local food security by redistributing surplus food from supermarkets that would otherwise go to waste. Participating supermarkets donate their unsold yet still fresh and edible products, such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, and baked goods, to the community fridge.
Residents can take what they need, free of charge, helping to alleviate food insecurity while also reducing the amount of food that would otherwise end up in landfills. This system fosters a spirit of sharing and mutual support within the community.
